American Heart Pine. Because of its high content of heart wood, Heart Pine has a tight growth ring pattern and a unique red - amber color. Reclaimed from the Old Cannon Mills in Kannapolis, NC, this century old lumber is carefully cut and re-manufactured into a beautiful and durable flooring product. This product is sliced into an 1/8” veneer and backed with a Birch plywood substrate. Because of this manufacturing process, stability is dramatically enhanced to eliminate gapping and movement of the wood and allows easy installation over concrete, radiant heat, or in basements. Floating, Glue-down, or nail-down applications are all acceptable with this unique flooring product. No acclimation necessary.
