"Tobaccowood" Pine Reclaimed
This material is manufactured from wood that comes from heat cured tobacco barns. It has a patina only mother nature and years of heat curing tobacco can produce. The barns are carefully dismantled as we salvage this beautiful antique lumber and now it is available to you.Milled or Distressed!

Horse Country Oak Reclaimed
Old farm structures are torn down and the wood is recycled to make this flooring. It is set aside because of the grey and black color that these boards have when they arrive at the mill. Horse Country Oak has a medium to high knot content, giving the floor a very rustic look. The floor has a very unique look with the mixture of both red and white oak, along with the black patina from paint and weathering.

Antique Chestnut Reclaimed
This species of wood no longer exists in the forests of North America. All material that is used for flooring must come from structures built before the Chestnut blight hit this country in the early 20th century. This being the case, flooring will often have a larger amount of character than any other material. Common character marks consist of more nail holes (and larger in some cases), excessive wormhole and checking, major color differences from one board to the next, dark patina from weathered barn-siding, etc. Some of the material may be fairly clear, being resawn from a large beam. Typically, this is not the case and millwork will retain a very rustic appearance. American Chestnut is a beautiful wood with color like no other and carries with it stories told in centuries past.

Antique Oak Reclaimed
As if new oak wasn't old enough, here is a material, much like chestnut, that has a great story to tell. Resawn from old beams or milled down from siding, this material is also a mix of both red and white oak. The character of this flooring includes knots, nail holes, and brown and black patinas. This wood being very old contains a fair amount of tighter grain.

Antique Heart Pine Reclaimed
Made from the wood of century-old buildings, this flooring has matchless character and color. This material comes from both industry buildings and old barns from across the country. Vertical Grain Heart Pine is selected for its’ tight, straight grain, minimal knots & nail-holes, and nearly 100% heartwood content. Our Select Grade contains 90-95% heartwood, few small knots and limited nail-hole. The cabin grade has less heartwood, a few more knots and more nail-holes.

Wormy Oak - New Materials
After logging crews have gone into the forest and harvested the trees they want, this material comes from the standing deadwood that is left on the forest floor. This oak is the gypsy moth leftovers, reclaimed by a local sawmill, and cut specifically for our Wormy Oak flooring.

Rustic White Oak - New Materials
This flooring is characterized by its frequent knots, mineral streaking, and sapwood/heartwood differentiation. Rustic White Oak is a good substitute, both physically and financially, for the Antique Oak that we offer.

Character Red oak - New Materials
Expect reddish color wood with some variations of color produced by differences between natural heartwood and sapwood. This grade of material allows a minimum amount of mineral streak, burls, and sound knots.

Rustic Cherry - New Materials
To a wood that acquires an aged look over time, we have added back it's primary unrefined character. Rustic Cherry contains a generous amount of knots with some checking and sapwood. The material is center-cut, maximizing the amount of heartwood color.
